Summary
Assistant Coach for Varsity Wrestling at Kearney R-I.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
1. Leads practice following the Head Coach’s schedule of activities
2. Attends all Wrestling matches
3. Reports to the Head Coach any problems or concerns
4. Attends meetings as required by Head Coach
5. Assist in the care of equipment and facilities
6. Assist in collection, inventory, and storage of equipment
7. Recommends to the Head Coach: awards for the athletes, facility improvements, equipment to be purchased, schedule improvements, etc.
Supervisory Duties
Supervises all athletes at games and locker room
Qualifications
Education/Experience
1. Coaching experience preferred
2. Wrestling experience in High School and/or College preferred
3. Good health & physical condition must be able to lift 50 pounds
4. Knowledge of Kearney R-I and MSHSSA guidelines
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
1. Missouri Coaching Certificate
2. CPR and First Aid certified
3. Missouri Teacher Certificate and/or DESE Substitute Certificate
